Chief Qualchan is a fawn 100% Accoyo herdsire with strong color genetics. He has throw
100% color bred to many whites. He even has a true black grandaughter. His Dam Peruvian
Beaux has thrown color and his sire PPPeruvian Starbuck famous for his luster has thrown
color 40% of the time.
Accoyo bloodlines with color are rare and service for a premium.

A recent skin biopsy performed by Dr. Norm Evans finds Chief to have
"Awesome" gland presence which Dr. Evans believes is the indicator of luster
in alpaca fiber and has shown to be highly genetic. Like his sire,
Chief ’s off spring demonstrate extreme luster, this is scientifically
confirmed by Dr. Norm Evans’ test. Chief shows glandular presence for
awesome luster and great bundle, or consistent lock formation.
